We ventured out to Butterfly Creek for a family day one Saturday in September. These things always look easier and less stressful in pictures than they actually are! LOL!
With two kids to manage (one of whom has anxiety), coupled with sleep deprived parents, meant that it wasn't the smoothest of days! Still once Nate settled a little (read bribed with ipad and chips, and allowed his dummy until he got comfortable!), we managed to encourage him to wander around and enjoy the sights.
Plus he had his first ever train ride, which he LOVED! Not to mention the playground.
As taxing as it on us as it might be in getting 'out there', it's the best thing we can do in helping Nate get more used to such places - check it out below....
