That never-ending house snag list!

As the weather has got warmer, we've tried to tackle some of those last remaining 'house snags'.

Over the last couple of months, we have finally put up curtains in the formal lounge, top soiled the back garden and front planter boxes, and painted the sandpit area at the back. The latest job has been completing the planting out the back, and we are just starting the planting of the front planter boxes.

Here are a few snaps of our little man helping Daddy out........

Still in my pjs but supervising well!
Daddy carted all of these bags around the back by himself!
Planting day!
Smoko for the supervisor!
First round of plants in :-)

And on yet another day, and with more landscaping underway, Nate takes some well deserved time-out for a bit of sand and water play. It's a tough life this kid thing :-). This past weekend we focused on starting the planting of the front boxes, and also the all important summer hanging baskets....

Well we have added two plants into the top two front planters - these will be big bushes resplendent with hot pink flowers! And we are planning to put lots of colourful Hebes in the boxes beneath these, but because we need so many (three large boxes to fill), we'll head out south another day, so we can buy in bulk and cheaper. Plus we have added a new hanging basket to the front...looking forward to cascading flowers any day week now.....
And a couple more hanging baskets, for around the back, hanging off the pergola. Yep it feels like summer at long last, especially after a winter of many colds and bugs with Nate :-)
