Our little man continues to do well at daycare, and while he still gets upset when he gets dropped off, he settles pretty quickly after we've gone. The team tell us he has a bit of a routine that he likes to follow - puzzles in the morning, some fun with the magnet tiles and the light box, and time outside playing on the bridge, and with the balls and trucks. They set up other activities on a day to day basis, like painting and the water table and so on, and he loves to try those out too!
Here are some recent shots of our little man at 2y8m...
And some more photos of him pretending to talk on the phone (at first, with a look-a-like phone...aka a calculator), and then with the real McCoy. We think he channels his Granny with this :-)

Who will I call?! |
Hello? Hello?! |
Nope no answer on this one. |
Yes, this is more like it! An ACTUAL phone... |
It's for you..... |
....no wait, it's for me... |
Such. Fun. |
And here he is on another day, exploring the magic of PVA glue and making a collage....new experiences!
This stuff is sticky! |
I like the feel of that on my hands....think I'll coat them! |
Oh she's good! |
Later on that same day, playing with the conical wood shapes and doing some stacking.....
And on another day, here he is doing a spot of 'reading' by himself before mat time. He LOVES the mat time sessions where as a small group they sing, play the ukulele and read books together - for Nate that's magic!
