2014 Christmas Day & Boxing Day

Our purple tree and snowman on Christmas Eve....Santa has definitely paid us a visit.....

Nate discovering his main pressy from Santa...a sand and water table, complete with kinetic sand. Fun! Although keeping the sand on one side, and the water on the other, is a bit of a foreign concept :-)

And opening more presents later on Christmas morning......didn't take too long to get the hang of it!

...getting up to intro him to my sisters!
Meet my Cookie!

Later that day, we enjoyed Christmas late afternoon dinner, with Granny and Grandad, Chris and Norm, and Grandy....while Nate had a short lie-down after the excitement of the day.

Granny, the girls and I spent Boxing Day shopping the bargains, and then relaxed in the afternoon with a Boxing Day BBQ with Granny, Grandaddy, the girls, Helen and her husband Stuart, and Helen's mother Kath. A lovely relaxing afternoon.

No sleep for the wicked on Boxing Day night...too much fun after hanging out with the family!

Having a late night snack with Daddy

And looking sharp on Saturday the 27th, watching my new Elmo DVD....and unwrapping even more of my presents..too many to do them all on one day alone!

Christmas parties pre Christmas

This month has included some really fun events for Nate......a couple of fun Christmas parties with his developmental playgroup, and also at conductive education. It's really just so great to see him enjoying other kiddies and being more interactive and engaged!

Here he is at the playgroup session, where there were also bubbles....(not mummy's sort!).

And here he is at the Conductive Education party, where they also had balloons and a clown that Nate took a real fancy to :-)

Waving blanky at Santa. Unfortunately Santa didn't know you had to play and seek with it :-)

We also braved the crowds and the queues at Smith and Caughey, to meet Santa for the first time this year. For an hour long wait, it was a short meander through the 'enchanted forest' and an even shorter visit with Santa! In fact no sooner had we made it in to Santa's grotto, and Nate was waving him goodbye and blowing kisses so we could leave.....oh well maybe he'll be in it more next year!
